Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing market trends, customer behaviors, and operational data to help drive informed decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to interpret data, provide actionable insights, and support U-LIKE Furniture’s growth objectives in existing and emerging markets.

Primary Responsibilities;
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to generate actionable insights. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as customer acquisition, sales trends, and product performance.
- Market Research: Conduct data-driven research to identify new market opportunities, analyze competitors, and understand customer preferences. Support expansion strategies by analyzing market demand and client feedback.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales efforts. Provide insights to optimize performance and improve ROI.
- Sales & Customer Insights: Analyze sales data to understand customer purchasing behavior, product preferences, and regional demand patterns. Work with the sales team to identify potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Data Visualization & Presentation: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with the Marketing, Product Development, and Sales teams to gather data requirements, support business objectives, and ensure data is used effectively across the organization.
- Predictive Analysis: Utilize statistical and predictive models to forecast trends, product demands, and sales projections that can aid in decision-making.
- Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency by performing regular data validation. Adhere to data protection and privacy regulations.
Key Requirements;
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems (experience with furniture or manufacturing industry data systems is a plus).
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the business sector.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and familiarity with predictive modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Experience working with large data sets and proficiency in data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills;
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Understanding and experience with database management.
- Experience with customer behavior analysis is a plus.
